1. Introduction

Welcome to PlayerOne, a social gaming platform for users of the Pi Network.

By using PlayerOne (the “App,” “Platform,” or “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Service.

These Terms explain your rights and responsibilities while using PlayerOne, including your access to games, challenges, rewards, and virtual currencies.

2. Eligibility

To use PlayerOne, you must:

  • Have a verified Pi Network account (with completed KYC verification).
  • Be legally allowed to use Pi Network and cryptocurrency features in your country.
  • Agree to these Terms and the Pi Network’s own policies.
  • PlayerOne is intended for general audiences and contains no adult or violent content.

3. Description of Service

PlayerOne provides social and competitive gaming experiences to Pi Network users, including:

  • Playing casual and skill-based games.
  • Competing in challenges and tournaments.
  • Posting and comparing scores on leaderboards.
  • Earning rewards in: Pi Rewards balance (ledgered in-app credits), internal in-game credits, and Pi Coins (cryptocurrency, via the Pi Network SDK).
  • All payments and authentication are processed through the official Pi SDK.

4. Account and Authentication

  • You access PlayerOne using your Pi Network credentials.
  • PlayerOne does not collect your password or KYC details — authentication happens securely via Pi SDK.
  • You may choose to use a public in-game name (instead of your Pi username) for privacy.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Pi account credentials.

5. Use of the Platform

You agree to use PlayerOne only for lawful and fair purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to hack, cheat, or exploit the platform.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts, etc.) to manipulate results.
  • Upload or transmit harmful code or malware.
  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users.
  • Violate any laws or Pi Network’s terms of service.

5.a Enforcement

PlayerOne reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or disrupt fair gameplay.

6. Rewards, Virtual Currency, and Payouts

This section outlines the official policies governing rewards and payouts.

6.1 Pi Rewards, Credits, and Pi Coins

  • Pi Rewards accrue automatically to your balance after eligible gameplay; balances are recorded in a transparent ledger accessible from your profile.
  • Pi Rewards are in-app credits separate from Pi cryptocurrency. Internal game credits or legacy coins may still appear in some features.
  • All Pi coin transactions (payouts to your wallet) are processed through the official Pi Network payment system — PlayerOne does not store or control your Pi wallet balance.
  • A minimum balance of 0.2 Pi Rewards is required before requesting a payout to your Pi wallet.

6.2 Payout Processing & User Tiers

Payouts transfer Pi Rewards from your in-app balance to your registered Pi Network wallet address. Processing times and methods vary by user tier:

  • Premium Users: Receive on-demand payout processing with highest priority. Payouts typically start immediately upon request.
  • Regular Users: Payouts are processed in scheduled batches (at least weekly) or when balance thresholds are met. Higher balances (≥1.0 Pi) receive elevated priority.
  • All payouts are subject to eligibility verification and cooldown periods between requests to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • PlayerOne may review, delay, or deny payout requests that appear fraudulent or result from ineligible play (cheating, exploitation, automated tools).
  • Payout countdown timers and schedules are estimates. PlayerOne is not responsible for delays caused by Pi Network infrastructure, blockchain congestion, or third-party services.
  • Failed payouts are automatically retried up to 3 times with exponential backoff. If all retry attempts fail, the amount is refunded to your Pi Rewards balance.
  • You may have only one active payout request at a time. Additional requests require the previous payout to complete, fail, or be cancelled.
  • Transaction fees (if any) are handled by the Pi Network. PlayerOne does not charge fees for payout processing.

6.3 Purchases

  • If in-app purchases are added in the future, they will also use Pi Network payments.
  • Refunds and payment disputes must comply with Pi Network’s policies.

7. User Content and Leaderboards

You may request removal of displayed data by contacting: aslp.dev@gmail.com

  • PlayerOne may display usernames, in-game names, scores, and rankings on leaderboards.
  • You retain rights to your in-game content but grant PlayerOne a limited license to display it for gameplay and competition purposes.

8. Data and Privacy

PlayerOne collects minimal user data (username, wallet address, scores, and transactions) as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

By using the app, you agree to this data processing necessary for providing services.

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and protect your data in accordance with EU privacy standards.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All rights, titles, and interests in the PlayerOne platform, logo, games, and related content belong to PlayerOne.
  • You may not copy, distribute, or modify the Service without written permission.
  • Pi Network and Pi Coin are trademarks of their respective owners; PlayerOne operates independently as a third-party application integrating the official Pi SDK.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PlayerOne is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties or guarantees.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the continuous availability of Pi Network services.

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

PlayerOne is not liable for any damages, losses, or interruptions caused by third-party systems (including Pi Network).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayerOne and its team are not liable for:

  • Lost rewards, cryptocurrency, or gameplay data.
  • Downtime or errors caused by Pi Network SDK or external services.
  • Unauthorized access to your Pi account.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

12. Termination

You may stop using PlayerOne at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms or laws,
  • You attempt to cheat or exploit the system, or
  • The Pi Network SDK becomes unavailable.

12.a Post-Termination

Upon termination, your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications and Updates

PlayerOne may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes will take effect once published within the app or on our website, with an updated “Effective Date.”

Continued use after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable local member state law.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the EU member state where PlayerOne is established.
